Casual Fridays!

Friday is finally here. Yeah! My favorite day of the week! Although I love the weekends of course, I think Friday is my favorite because I still have the weekend to look forward to. And everyone tends to dress a bit more casually on Fridays. Our dress code here is business casual all the time but a lot of companies have Casual Fridays which everyone loves because they can usually wear jeans to work. It's just easier to get ready for work on Fridays for some reason. You don't have to put as much thought into what outfit you are wearing.

There are some really cute items on Chadwicks.com that would be great for Casual Fridays. The Eyelash Tiered Top paired with the Easy Crop Pants is a great casual outfit. Then just slip into the Nina Thong Wedges and you are on your way. What is you favorite Casual Friday outfit?

Remember this dress? It was featured in the March issue of All You magazine and it's now on sale for $49.99! Our Crisp Cotton Wrap Dress comes in some bright springtime colors and it would make a great dress for a special occasion like a spring wedding or party?
You can check out the All You article here.

I guess summertime is starting to wind down here in the Northeast. It is a little chilly out this morning and it reminds me that Fall is just around the corner. I love this time of year. Time to go apple picking. Time to buy colorful mums for the yard. And time to put away the shorts & tanks and bring out the sweaters and long sleeve tops. And of course, time to buy some new items to spruce up the Fall wardrobe.

It reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom would take my brother and sister and I school shopping. I would always look forward to wearing my new clothes to school. I am the mom now and it isn't quite the the same because my son really doesn't get excited about clothes at all. But that's okay because I still do! And I am looking forward to adding to my Fall wardrobe.

A couple of my favorite sweaters from the Fall Collection are the Textured Cardigan and the Madison Cardigan. They are beautiful and will also come in handy, especially here in the office where it can be chilly at times. I also love the Bianca Blouse and the Keyhole Peasant Blouse. What are your favorites?

It's Clearance Time!

I have been so busy lately. We recently mailed our Early Fall book which has some great new styles in it and our next Fall book is due out in a couple of weeks. We also just mailed the Summer Clearance book and are in the process of marking down tons of additional Spring and Summer items at fantastic prices and moving them to Clearance. All the newly marked down items can be found under New Arrivals. I am still adding new clearance items, so check back often. As a matter of fact, I better get back to moving the rest of these items to clearance before I get another email wondering when the latest list will be complete. Happy shopping!

It's beginning to get really busy around here! We are preparing for a preview of our next catalog. There are about 60 or so items that will be pushed lived to the website and will be available for purchase next week. And there are some great styles coming for the fall season, let me tell you! I love checking out the first books of a new season to see all the new looks. Here is a sneak peak at one of them. Make sure to stay tuned to see the rest!

My cat loves when I buy new shoes.

I order a lot of clothing online and I always look forward to receiving my packages in the mail. But in my house, there is also someone else that loves it when I receive a package, especially shoes, and that is my cat Zell. He loves checking out boxes of all shapes and sizes and he has to try them all out as a bed. He can curl up into the smallest box and take a nap and he is not a small cat. I think at the last visit to the vet he weighed in at around 14 lbs. but you wouldn't believe what he can cram himself into to snooze in. Oh what a life...
